Marcus ignored his doctor's recommendation for a PSA test for three years. When he finally went, his PSA levels were elevated. A biopsy confirmed early-stage prostate cancer. Robert had been putting off his colonoscopy for years. At 62, his doctor finally convinced him. They found and removed three polyps — one of which was precancerous. "Five more years and it would have been a very different story," Robert says. He now volunteers with our community outreach program.
