Our Founder's Story

Born From Personal Experience

"When I was diagnosed with head and neck cancer, I felt completely alone. I couldn't find resources built for men like me. That's why I built this foundation — so no man ever has to feel that way again."

In 2020, our founder was diagnosed with head and neck cancer. What followed was one of the most grueling journeys a person can face — 30+ radiation treatments, 4 rounds of chemotherapy, a feeding tube, and months of recovery that tested every limit of body and spirit.

Through it all, he noticed something troubling: there were very few resources, communities, or support systems built specifically for men facing cancer. Men were expected to be tough, to push through, to figure it out alone.

Now in remission, he founded the Man Cancer Foundation with a simple but powerful promise: No Man Fights Alone. MCF exists to make sure every man facing cancer has access to education, support, and a community that understands what he's going through.

What We're Building

Our Focus Areas

We are in the early stages of building programs that will make a real difference for men affected by cancer. Here's where we're focused.

Education

Providing clear, honest information about men's cancers — symptoms, screening, and what to expect during treatment.

Awareness

Breaking the stigma around men's health and encouraging men to take cancer screening seriously.

Resource Navigation

Helping men and their families find the right doctors, support groups, and community resources.

Survivor Support

Creating space for survivors to share their stories, connect with others, and find hope after treatment.

Community Outreach

Reaching men in underserved communities where cancer awareness and early detection resources are limited.

Advocacy

Advocating for men's cancer research funding, policy changes, and better access to care.

Cancer Awareness

Knowledge Saves Lives

Early detection is one of the most powerful tools in the fight against cancer. We provide education and resources across the cancers that affect men most.

#1 in men
Prostate Cancer

The most common cancer in men. Early screening can be life-saving.

Leading cause
Lung Cancer

The leading cause of cancer death in men. Early detection matters.

#2 in men
Colorectal Cancer

Highly treatable when caught early through regular screening.

Most common 15–35
Testicular Cancer

The most common cancer in young men. Awareness and self-exams save lives.

Personal to our founder
Head & Neck Cancer

Often linked to HPV and tobacco. Our founder is a survivor.
